It's time again for our boys (and parents) to give back to the community via the United Way's Day of Caring project. This year, we have two homes (one in Panther Creek and one in Grogan's Mill) that need work, as the homeowners have limitations that prevent them from actively keeping up the exterior of their homes. This year, there will be no interior work--just outside things such as raking and bagging leaves, blowing & trimming, pressure washing, cleaning gutters, etc. We are taking on two houses because the amount of work combined is do-able--if we get as much participation from the boys & parents as we did last year.
Here are the details:
Saturday, February 13, 2010
Two locations: 7 E. Wavy Oak Circle (in Panther Creek); 2416 Box Oak Place (in Grogan's Mill)
Two shifts at each location: 10 a.m.-noon; noon-2 p.m.
