JV and Freshman games are cancelled for 1/10/11.

Help the Spirit Committee!

Freshman parent volunteers needed for the following areas:
1.  deliver snacks bags and drinks to coaches on 3 away games.  Can be divided so one parent is assigned to one game each.  Just deliver to the coach prior to bus being loaded at TWHS. 
2.  Hang banners/sign at freshman campus in commons lunch area mid January.  Sign will be completed and approved and delivered to you to take to the school.  All signs must be hung with masking tape which will be provided as well.
3.  A few parents to decorate freshman lockers one evening at TWHS main campus week of January 10th.  All décor will be provided.
4.  A parent who will attend the games to take the box of noise makers to help cheer on the boys.  This parent can also ask another parent to take if unable to attend a game. 

Snack bags - I need a few parents from all teams to meet me at my house to put together the snack bags.  Approx 90 bags and will take no more than 2 hours.  Everything is provided - I just need the man power.  I would like to plan this possibly for Sunday, Jan 2ndd in the afternoon, 2-4pm but I am flexible if anyone can help on this day.  The more help I have the faster it goes.  If this doesn't work due to holiday travel, we can meet quickly after the potluck and spread out assembly line style in the café and knock it out at least for the first round of games and do the other two games at a later date. 

JV and Varsity Parents
1.  Help decorate lockers one evening week of January 10th - can be done on same day as Freshman.  Décor again is provided - just need the man power. This takes about an hour and depending on work schedules and Coach's ability to allow us in when they are there - we shoot for 6-7 pm.  I have to coordinate final time with coaches. 
2.  Hangs banners/signs in main campus athletic hallway - this can also be done at the same time we decorate the lockers. 
3.  Volunteer to hang a few small signs around campus the day before a home game to build attendance.  These signs will be made and approved and just need to hang after school in common lunch area and athletic hallway.

Playoffs will have another round of banners and hallway / locker décor and we can work towards that after this initial work is completed. 

Please let me know if you can assist me in one or more of these areas.  I am sure more opportunities and ideas to promote our team and cheer the boys on to a great season will be shared.  I am open to any ideas and look forward to serving our team and our families to ensure a great spirited season!
